It was a night of nostalgia and pride at Beston Hall as the Nazareth Athletics Hall of Fame officially inducted the Class of 2025. Two titans of the lacrosse program, Luke Wooters ’16 and Troy Haefele ’16, took their rightful place among the legends.
Wooters, the program’s all-time leading point scorer (363 points), and Haefele, a four-time All-Empire 8 selection, represent the relentless offensive fire that has defined Golden Flyer lacrosse for decades. The ceremony brought together over three generations of alumni to celebrate a duo that led Nazareth to the 2013 Empire 8 title and a deep NCAA run in 2015.
“Wearing the ‘N’ was about more than the goals; it was about the guys in the locker room who became brothers for life,” Wooters remarked during his acceptance speech.
